In a rapidly interconnected world, proficiency in English has become essential for accessing a broader range of opportunities and communicating across cultures. Recognizing this, the Chiayi government, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, has introduced the Foreign English Teachers Program. This program is designed to equip Taiwanese children with a solid English foundation from an early age, setting them on a path to success.
By bringing native English-speaking teachers to Chiayi, this initiative enriches students’ learning experiences. The program emphasizes the development of comprehensive English skills—reading, writing, speaking, and listening—ensuring that students are well-prepared to navigate a globalized future. Through this partnership, Chiayi aims to nurture confident, capable, and globally-minded young learners.
